People enable people to be noobs Dave. You know that.
Giaken will forever be one. *shakes head* It's a shame.
I spy, with my little eye, hypocrisy.
How so? I've learned a lot. I also learned how this system works and know a lot more than you people like to think.
Just because I choose to have a life and not bury my nose in VB6 resource and tutorial sites, doesn't mean I don't know my shit.

You're not a newb anymore. Doesn't mean you're not a noob. :3

You're new here. I will give you the benefit of the doubt and realize you're an idiot.
Robin set the rank for as many posts as I have, to that. I'm no where near as active as I used to be. I've been a member of MS since 2004. A member of these forums, since 2006. Two years, it took me to get that many posts.
Robin, I know a lot more than the people you consider a noob, but w/e. I imagine, we all can't be like you. Not all of us want to learn a completely dead language to better ourselves when programming with a dead engine.
I have better things to do. I program Merrimint in my spare time, which isn't very often.
I've learned VB6 and a good amount of C# since Febuary of this year, a good 6 months.
I have a 5.5 month old baby, a wife, a full time job, and still have time to program and play games.
Do I not have a life because I've learned Vb6 very well in such a short time?

Rofl. Programming in VB is hardly wasted time. It's taught me a lot about programming in general, which I'll use later one when I can be bothered to learn Java more.

Um, Perfekt.
First of all, are you serious? Because I'm not.
Secondly, I'm well aware Robin set the rank, I'm not, as you seem to feel, "an idiot".

Don't take anything Matt says seriously. He just talks hard because he's a black guy from the ghetto.

Yes. Fear me for I am black. Rawr. >.>
Okay, seriously. I'm white.
Acruno, in my eyes, you're an idiot until you prove me wrong. Only an idiot would point out what you did. Therefore, you're an idiot. Get over it. Accept it. Move on. Go masturbate with IcyHot or something.
Dugor. You misunderstood me apparently.
Btw, how old are you? O.o
I don't see how I am a noob just because I wanted some reference :?
GIAKEN Wrote:I don't see how I am a noob just because I wanted some reference :?
You're all "Noobs" for using the term "Noob".
Uh Oh, I am now, a "Noob". ]:
Well I was just quoting what he called me (which was "noob").

Read the thread. Dave released a patch that would automatically install this script. If you want, you can go run it in TortoiseSVN and take the code from there.
We're not gonna flame you, we're just gonna tell you to read the thread before posting something useless.

One of these upcoming days, I am going to write a Dave-style tutorial to do this... but don't expect it to be easy
k that sounds good =x
Anyone notice he's redoing this in images, still not the way Dave intended for it to be done?
How did Dave intend this to be done then?
When I do have time, this will be explained fully, notice the W.I.P.
The tutorial should be, add the +'s and take take out or ignore the -'s.
^_^.

Better than a straight copypasta tutorial though.
Still not the way Dave intended for it to be done.
He wants it fully explained and for the user to have to write the code from what they learned. No copy paste. I didn't get any copy paste when he was walking me through implementing it. I learned quite a bit from it as well.

Rofl, feel bad for the kid XD Two times in a row now on the same tutorial
PS : On a slightly off-topic, could someone explain to me SVN? Never really understood it xD Is it just like a patching system and it patches your code and what not or is it just a way to store all your versions? :S
