Well when the site was sold so was the rights to shut it down. So I guess if you do not like it or someone being banned start up your own community or join another.

After all this is all free you can create your own engine or source modifications for your own community.

A good community leader would have understood a members needs, tried to help, nagoisated or something of the sort. The difference between a good community leader and you is you did the extact oppsite. You banned, deleted posts, covered it all up the best you could and made yourself look foolish.

Man this is all a bunch of bullshit. Matt, Rian, I fully support your ideas. Everyone else, you need to see that they're trying to help. This place can't be ressurected now. We won't get any new reliable members, and if we do, they're probably noobs who ask for all their shit on a silver platter, even though they're trying to learn the easy way, they'll just get chased out from all the flaming. You gotta face it, that's how noobs are, I sure was like that at one point. This place hasn't made any progress in months. All of the best contributers have been forced to leave because of all this drama that takes place. It's time we all moved on. This is the end of mirage in my eyes.

I the reason I haven't banned you is because you don't pose a threat. I am not a very competitive person when it comes to the internet. You and Robin and DFA go do whatever you'd like. I like Robin, I still count him as a friend. I don't really know DFA, but the best of luck to the three of you. Other than still liking Robin, I'm certain Matt agrees with me completely.

I'd really like to see a new site without all the old garbage, flaming, arguments and such on. Fresh starts are always good, even if it came from a dead or dying one. Personally I could not care less that this was a 2 page bitchfest cuz I'd made my 2AM funny. But anyways i was here when Dr.Spoon was still active and everyone one was helping every one and it was not just the elitist who were posting .. I miss those days.
And i hope that this new MS can bring forth some of that good old community spirit.
