This Place Is Dead - Rian - 22-07-2009
This place serves only to harbor hatred. Vb6 is a dieing language, and Mirage Source is a dieing community. Matt, Jacob, and I are working on a new site to host support for future development of Mirage Source 4, and eventually finishing the port to VB.Net
Mirage Source will not be the main attraction anymore. We'd like for the new place to serve as a portal to welcome all who are interested in developing 2D games (no matter the engine, or language behind it), whether it be programmers, pixel artists, or just old school Role Players.
We're starting fresh because this place is broken. If you plan on bringing your old grudges, or just want nothing to do with us, please don't even sign up.
I'll post a link when we get the site ironed out. We'll need about 4 or 5 moderators. If you're interested, PM me.

To be honest with you ive got no problem with any moderator apart from Matt. Running round and banning people is a bit sad. It shows how childish you really are and whoever recommended you or gave you any kind of access to do anything other than sit and watch I belive must have been blind at the time.
You are the worst member of staff I have come across.
You thought you could ban the people who start the uprise and everyone would just shut up and become scared well your wrong. Were going to be 10x worse now and well make sure we get justice.
From day one of me coming to the forum you attacked me for little to no reason because I proved myself right on the first day of me being here and you didnt like a freshman telling you the truth. You dont like the truth well im going to give you it.

Doomy, tell me where I complained that I want Mirage to change? I dont care if it changes. But locking every board on here that went over board. That did it for me. Im tired of seeing certain people bitch and complain that these forums turned into hell with people bashing others and so forth. But there are only a FEW people who come on here and post just to piss people off and the mods say its everyone. ONLY a FEW people I know of come on here just to bash people and besides removing THEM, they go ahead and do stupid shit like lock all the topics and say we ALL are bad.

No not just this. I hate you because of the way you acted when I corrected you that essence 3.0 was dx7 and not dx8. I was poliet and even stated I didnt want a fight with you about it. I stated I was not trying to be funny but it was DX7 and not DX8. You insisted I was wrong and I was insulting and everything I said was a personal attack against you. William seen it, I seen it and countless others.
You acted like a complete child when you got proven wrong and went in a strop. I talked to william about you saying how foolish you were and childish and his extact words were that when he was changing ownership over "I may just ban him and leave it like that before I leave"

Sorry if anyone is mad at me. I locked all the topics to get your attention. MS carries too much stigma and negativity. It's time for someone to put it out of it's misery. It'd be difficult to convince me that anyone is gonna miss this place more than I am. I've seen a lot of good come of this place. Over the years I've made many good friends. This place used to have a certain glow about it. It was the awe of discovery. People were learning, and communicating.
Once upon a time, if something could be done better, people didn't just tell you "Oy, your way is stupid, and proves your ignorance"; Instead, they showed you new ways of doing things. It was a giant group effort to improve everyone's abilities. Now it's just a giant bag of ill will. This new site is my attempt of reviving the spirit of Mirage Source. This is my effort to kill this stigma. If you're with me, hooray. If not, hooray.

Youve just proved who you really are and anyone with sense and respect for this community will see it too and hopefully remove you from access.
You banned DFA and whoever else youve banned because two people expressed their opinions and requested for their accounts to be deleted. You then seen a swarm of people expressing their's and asking for the same thing.
You seen people following people so you decided if you took out the leaders of the pact and silenced them, everything would be alright and people would stop quitting and asking for their accounts to be deleted.
A whole community is not going to turn against you for nothing. Why cant you just see the error of your ways and just expect it. Nobody is going to kill you or flame you for being truthful. They will respect you more for being the bigger man and stating you are wrong.

You are so horribly wrong, it's not even funny anymore. I banned Robin and DFA because I didn't want me and Rian to have to deal with the drama they were causing while we did what we have to do. If I banned them for the reasons you say I did, I'd have banned everyone that asked for their account to be deleted. I'd also ban you right now since you're the new "leader" as you like to call it.
