Sylint is the idea / tester guy.

I don't think that tile's supposed to be used for a path.

Crap, thats the wall, we need paths then too, lol. We need houses like huts and stuff too Giaken.

I like the style but it could be improved to match (towers dont match the style for example), colours could be changed aswell

Yeah all he's doing now is basically taking the 16-bit GFX we got and making them better 32-bit GFX. Then we will modify them and come up with a good base then do the different seasons.

Dibs on beta testing.

You can't say no... Well you could, but I'd commit suicide. Hope that hangs over your conscience, come time to choose beta testers.

After we get all the GFX done and all of the base doing good I'll probably release a good beta test.

Well kinda, we are starting from the beginning of the game, that the player will see and working to the end.
But yes its a game of survival in a large scale, hopefully seamless world.

I'm not sure which direction the game will be going in. All I'm trying to do now is get the base of the game in and working before I start trying to come up with way off in the future plans.

Alright I got stat bars in and working on the in-game menu. We have Health, Magic, and Stamina. I'll see what to do about Hunger and Thirst later...

Punika is still hard at work with the graphics Big Grin I'm getting the client ready for a beta test release. After Punika gets more of the graphics ready and we'll get some in-game content done and see what we need to do then go for the beta test!

Ahahah I am so happy.

I did some basic windows for the inventory / chat / etc that are in and working.

Also redid the way the chat box works. Instead of completely hiding the chat when you hit enter, it'll just hide the box that lets you type, which will let you be able to do everything you want while moving around in the game, etc. Buttt I also added an X on the chat box, in case you want to completely hide the chat box like normal. Then you can bring it back by hitting enter Big Grin

Visual inventory works 100% Big Grin I just have to get using an item to work and sort out equipping and highlighting the item and so on.

Also I got the beginnings of my hot key system in Wink You will be able to hot key an item (if it's a potion or whatever) and the same goes with skills. You first click the Set Item / Set Skill button (which will be located on the item / skill window) then you click the item / skill you want to hot key. You'll then see that item / skill's icon floating by your mouse pointer. Then you will click on the hot key window at the box which hot key you want to set it to. You will also be able to change the hot key boxes to work depending on that certain hot key you have set. The hot key window will have like 8 slots with that hot key letter / number / whatever appearing over the box and the icon of whatever you're using for that hot key. You'll be able to set them to F1-F12, 0-9, a-z, shift, enter, etc, etc.

Yeah I've been letting a few random people I know testing for me Big Grin So if you want to get on then hook me up and I'd be more than happy to let you get on and check it out so far.

Visual inventory works 100%. You can drop an item, equip, etc, etc...I just need to work on the equipping because you can't tell if you have anything equipped or not Big Grin Also I'm going to do dragging items maybe or something...also I need to show how much of the item they have.

Then I gotta get visual skills in and working.

Also I'm going to do emoticons. A little chat bubble will float up with a smiley face depending on what you type in the chat box. Like:

"hey guys! : )"

Then you'll see a smiley face Big Grin Same for other emoticons.

Anyways, got in the new level system Big Grin It displays your level beside your name. Like this: (1) Giaken.

But, there's a twist! It changes the level's color depending on their level to yours! Like this: If they are lower it will appear yellow, if they are the same it appears white, and if they are higher it appears red!

But there's even more of a twist! If you can't attack them currently, it appears grey!

You will be able to fight the person if they are 10% of your level + 1 in your range. So level 1 can attack level 2, level 10 can attack level 8-12, level 20 can attack level 17-23, etc, etc.

Oh well. I'm trying to keep it old school.

I just did emoticons today. A little bubble appears above your head with the emoticon on it depending on what you type in the chat. Like : ), : (, : P, : |, : D, etc, etc.
