Once you're here long enough, it becomes habitual to click the bookmark and read the forums. It may be easy for you to just go away, but most of us have a nostalgic love for the place. Don't judge people based on your own capabilities. It makes you look ignorant.

If you are that addicted, you will make another account anyway. Askign to be banned is a request for attention more than anything. You can delete a bookmark/favorite and you can even block sites these days. It all comes down to self control. And visiting a forum like this provides very little impact on self health - theres minimal posting and activity on a regular basis, so it does not consume a chunk of life like many places can. There is just no need to ask to be banned, that is all I am saying - it is like having someone else check you into rehab, the results are proven to be less effective.
