I've told him I'm not coding for him if he switches anyways.
I'm supposed to be teaching him SadScript for elysium so he can do it himself since I refuse to code for an Elysium game. Lol.

Big Grin SadScript is nearly the same as visual basic itself... Just with less commands.

And a lot slower, and a lot more unreliable, and generally an ugly thing.

Short: It's useless. Okay for little games with short life duration but not a must-have for bigger games.
We got another Vista-problem...

The client will give a RTE 429 telling an ActiveX component couldn't be created or likewise.
Tried:
- installing VB-Runtimes
- installing libraryfiles
- deactivated norton antivirus (somewhere someone said that it could cause some trouble but it wasn't the cause in our case)
- sighed in frustration and hoping someone knowing can help us ^^''

ActiveX component or '429' is generally dx7vb.dll that needs to be registered.

Typically, due to UAC being active. Anthony posted a method to register files without turning it off. Why anybody would want to keep it on is beyond me though.
