O.ffline G.ame E.ditor (OGE) Source
#1
Ok I made this a while back as a way to edit every aspect of your game offline. More less so you dont have to get on your game to edit stuff. I didnt finish some stuff like the map editor and the account editor but the rest works fine.

Not much interest was shown so I stopped work on it. I decided to just release it incase anyone else wants to add on or finish it. If you decide to modify it and release it at all just keep me in the credits for creating it originally and im fine with it. Heres the source modify away Smile

That's because PW uses MS as a base. I thought that's been said several times by now..?

Anyways, nice release HaLLa, though not sure it belongs in Games & Engines. =P

On the onrpg site any game released from MS or ES or anything is called playerworlds games lol

I placed it here cause its finished... its not underwork and all... plus I didnt place it in others because its for Mirage Source... I decided this was the best fit for it.

Yeah it was made for a vanilla MSE1.

It could easily be changed for other things though.

I noticed you haven't done a map editor. All the other editors are easy, it's just reading and writing to text files mostly. I'd like to see somebody actually do an offline map editor, that's hard to do.

Actually, once again. An offline map editor is REALLY easy.

Well, I wish somebody would help me do one lol, I found it quite confusing, and even after other people attempted, I still couldn't get my offline map editor maps to work on the client. I dunno.

Very easy, Read how the map editor "sends" the maps, but instead save the maps. I will be working on my own off line Map editor for FTO, I have to start from scratch on FTO as I lost data because of some stupid virus, but at least its easier once you do something. I will release the Map editor and source.

I know, but my question is regarding the source.

Why don't you just open the source and look?

It's easy to tell if it's binary or FSO.
