It was somewhat mentioned in the Darkar thread, but this belongs in its separate thread. GSD mentioned willing to help bring the forum somewhat back to what it once was. The forum used to be a place where we all tried to help each other creating our own games. Now, we have learned a lot and all...but VB is dieing, its not even fully supported in Vista(to my knowledge) and we all think we know everything. I think if we want to fix up the forum we need to create a new engine together in a new language, such as C++(although I favor java 
). And for real this time, every time someone wants a group project it never gets done. That, imo, is the only way to return this forum to what it could be.
