I've seen no progress or am I blind?

Both? Community projects never work here. No one is in charge and nobody cares to work on it enough.

Well I'am in charge, but it doesnt seem to go on much. I dont get any interests from the other community leaders, except verrigan atm.

So I will probably do as good as I can and release a MSE2 later on.

ionno..scratch the whole project and start again in DirectX8...

Might come up with something very innovative

Well I don't see what would MSE Build 2 would consist of, unless its just coded completely new :o.

Well since the first thing everyone seems to do when they get a fresh source is add all the optimizations/bug fixes..

Why not jsut add those and clean it up, and release that..

Or at least apply the Bug-fixes, and reupload MS1.

Those things are already done. Ill upload it when my hand is fixed.

Why do a new layout? That's the very first thing anyone does when they open MS.

I think ya'll should add some good features that are bug-free (Positive bug-free) with the bug fixes. This would be cool Smile.

Although im not using MS anymore, it'd be awesome :p.

No. Features? No. Please think, its MS. Why would it consist of features for a vanilla? Thats why we have tutorials. If you want features program it yourself or look into the tutorial section cause we know that William is not programming a WoW for us.

It really is difficult though. Programming an engine like this. You need to keep in mind all the time that feature you want other will not.

MS isn't begging for members... well I'm not saying vbGore is but MS is fine as it is and MSE Build 2 is probably just major optimizations for people in MS already.

I don't think you seem to get the point of Mirage.

It's not an engine where you can pull a game out with no programming knowledge and just by using the engine as it is, it's a basic networking and graphical source code for people to build upon and not have to worry about the basic principals of the game.

If people choose to use vbGORE, that's their decision. We're not trying to force MS on anyone. Adding features is a bad idea. Fixing features already in there, adding optimizations, that's what's needed. Nothing more.
