Whats going on? - Tony - 12-04-2007 I've seen no progress or am I blind? - Misunderstood - 12-04-2007 Both? Community projects never work here. No one is in charge and nobody cares to work on it enough. - William - 13-04-2007 Well I'am in charge, but it doesnt seem to go on much. I dont get any interests from the other community leaders, except verrigan atm. So I will probably do as good as I can and release a MSE2 later on. - Tony - 14-04-2007 William Wrote:Well I'am in charge, but it doesnt seem to go on much. I dont get any interests from the other community leaders, except verrigan atm. Alright. Good luck with it then. - Misunderstood - 14-04-2007 I would help, but I don't use VB anymore, I use linux and vb doesn't - Sephiroth187 - 15-05-2007 ionno..scratch the whole project and start again in DirectX8... Might come up with something very innovative - Da Undead - 16-05-2007 Well I don't see what would MSE Build 2 would consist of, unless its just coded completely new :o. - Rezeyu - 16-05-2007 Well since the first thing everyone seems to do when they get a fresh source is add all the optimizations/bug fixes.. Why not jsut add those and clean it up, and release that.. Or at least apply the Bug-fixes, and reupload MS1. - William - 16-05-2007 Those things are already done. Ill upload it when my hand is fixed. - Da Undead - 16-05-2007 possibly new layout too? ![]() - Styre - 17-05-2007 Da Undead Wrote:possibly new layout too? That should cme ,, if it comes ,, at the VERY VERY Last - Matt - 17-05-2007 Why do a new layout? That's the very first thing anyone does when they open MS. - Da Undead - 17-05-2007 I think ya'll should add some good features that are bug-free (Positive bug-free) with the bug fixes. This would be cool ![]() Although im not using MS anymore, it'd be awesome :p. - Tony - 19-05-2007 Da Undead Wrote:I think ya'll should add some good features that are bug-free (Positive bug-free) with the bug fixes. This would be cool No. Features? No. Please think, its MS. Why would it consist of features for a vanilla? Thats why we have tutorials. If you want features program it yourself or look into the tutorial section cause we know that William is not programming a WoW for us. - Robin - 19-05-2007 It really is difficult though. Programming an engine like this. You need to keep in mind all the time that feature you want other will not. - Da Undead - 19-05-2007 Ya i understand. But you know, just something to make Mirage stand out, otherwise people are going to use Spodi's :p. - Tony - 20-05-2007 Da Undead Wrote:Ya i understand. But you know, just something to make Mirage stand out, otherwise people are going to use Spodi's :p. MS isn't begging for members... well I'm not saying vbGore is but MS is fine as it is and MSE Build 2 is probably just major optimizations for people in MS already. - Robin - 20-05-2007 Da Undead Wrote:Ya i understand. But you know, just something to make Mirage stand out, otherwise people are going to use Spodi's :p. I don't think you seem to get the point of Mirage. It's not an engine where you can pull a game out with no programming knowledge and just by using the engine as it is, it's a basic networking and graphical source code for people to build upon and not have to worry about the basic principals of the game. - Matt - 20-05-2007 If people choose to use vbGORE, that's their decision. We're not trying to force MS on anyone. Adding features is a bad idea. Fixing features already in there, adding optimizations, that's what's needed. Nothing more. |
