Bomberman Online [Open Beta 1.1]

Good job think there already is a Bomberman game out there but it might be in korean (but still easy to play). It was a fun game. Anyways I would create some of your own custom stuff and maybe make your own sprites and so on... but keep the game play basically the same.

I would play it when its done

Small update:

Just got 8 frame movement in and working. It looks beautiful. I'll do death animations next and then do destroyable walls.

It wouldn't be too hard would it? Just do Bomb Offsets and Do until Bomb.x = tile_type_blocked
bomb.y = bomb.y +1 and the other stuff

Next update:

Bomb dropping is not limited by time anymore, but by how many bombs you have on map. Picking up the bomb bonus item increases your limit.

Bombs can no longer be "held" in place by standing on it and holding control to keep reseting that bomb's timer.

When you die it will take 1 second to respawn, during that time you will see a death animation Wink

I got in 8 frame walking and it's working properly and I also made it appear like you are walking towards a wall, like the actual game does.

Alright...even more for the next update.

I got in destroyable walls. I just have to wait for the animations for it.

Also I did the ability to jump Tongue It's just for fun now, you type /jump and see an animation of your character jumping in the air. It will be used later when somebody wins a game or something.

Re-programmed the GUI to fit on 1 main window. I only have 11 forms in this project Wink I would only have 2 if I didn't have any of the admin stuff.

I'll do speed bonus item before the next release too.

I am going to say that an open beta will be released soon.

I got a lobby system in and it's working nicely so far.
