No. That is completely wrong. I can see how you would think that though, no offense, but you think yourself much higher than most people. It's not something that makes you look less educated, less formal, yes, educated, no. Some of the most intelligent people I've ever met say it. My old English Lit teacher was also a professor and he used that a LOT. Lol.
