Firstly, allow me to get this out of the way. I no longer plan to move this site anywhere.
Secondly, the two newest Community Leaders are Matt and James. I haven't even talked to Matt this morning, so I don't even know if he really wants to stick around. Regardless, the three of us have a nostalgic attachment to this place, and I think we will work well together. Now I know that some of you have had your differences with Matt, and I'd really like to put that behind us. I will be the first to say that I do expect he will behave differently now that he's in a position of power.
DFA and Robin have been unbanned. If they really insist that I delete their accounts, I suppose I will. However, I would prefer not to. Along with their accounts, all of their posts would obviously be deleted. I'd like to avoid that if I can. Most of those posts are still valuable to this community.
There will be many changes made to these forums over the next couple of days. I plan on removing Rants and Raves, and purging all of the posts in Off Topic, and in the Forum Games. We will also be adding some new boards, and removing others that umbrella too many different subjects.
I invite everyone give me your own thoughts on what this place needs. We're still considering adding a couple more moderators. For now though, please try to respect one another. And in the mean time, here's a new rule I'd like you all to try and practice: Attack ideas, not each other.
