"YES! from scratch!"
http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=72xmqjBjk ... annel_page
Code Ignition is casual game directed towards Community development, where people can create their very own, unique and proper equipment, trade them, instead of using pre-defined game items.
The need from making this borns while playing a Mecha-based game from the 'interwats'. You could customise your mecha with various weapons, but I missed more personalisation (most pieces require a certain mecha model). Seeing this, I realised that way more personalisation would rock.
The features you can see on the video are:
-Equipment window:
->Equip items
->Each item is listed on it's own kind list
->Loads image showing the item's look.
->Shows the item's stats when you roll your mouse over the item's image.
->Shows stadisticals
-Shop window:
->Lets you buy the starter equipment/set
->Shows the money you got left
->Says a little cute "You bought that" phrase when buying But it disappears when you roll your mouse off.
But what you can't see is:
-Items are 100% modular and NOT-PREFINED!
Next thing I got to work on is:
-Battle system (Using my dear d6 based roll system, and some more)
Things I still need to do are:
-Item creation system
-Creation system items Battling
->Chatting
->Trading
?-> Game lobby?
Oh well, back into working...
