jeah, but still... 22€ is 32$. for a dedicated root server. you can get a linux vps for 15$. a windows vps is much more expensive, around 37$.
still much less than 60$ o_O.
i always thought that hosting in america is cheaper than here, just look what Dreamhost offers... there are no compareable offers here.

The problem with companies that offer such insane packages for such a low price is because they do what is known in the industry as Over-Selling also known as Over-Subscription. They will in fact over sell up to 100:1. So when they offer 500 GB and 5TB of bandwidth they are just luring you to the price for such an insane package knowing that you will never use it, then they sell that same space to 20-100 customers. If you were to even think about using all of those resources they would find a way to shut you down or create false charges to your bill. There is no way they could offer resources like that for only $6. Not to mention the cost of support, maintenance, advertising, and the cost of frill software like site builders and management panels. I squeezed the most I could out of my providers and created an unmetered package that will actually make me almost no money at all. My hopes for my offerings are that if people see how well we handle web hosting they will come to us for all of their computing needs.
