Would having 16x16 tiles and 32x32 sprites have smoother movement? could someone tell me some of the pro and cons of this? thanks

Well, it's a difficult question. By having 16*16 tiles, and a character that is 32*32. That would mean that you either make the character walk 16 pixels or 32 pixels, in normal sense 1/2tile or 1tile. Making the character walk 1/2tile is kinda wierd. why am I explaining it harder than it actually are..
32*32 chars belongs on 32*32 tiles. |
