hey well i have visual basic 2005 and i want to start making my own game with this? so i downloaded the client and server so how do i start to make maps and stuff!

You need to get visual basic 6.

Open both the client and server vbp files, and either compile or run from the IDE (visual basic 6), and then create a new account and stuff. After you've created a new account, set the access to atleast 2, log back in, and type /mapeditor

ok check all that is complete now i want to make the engine a little diffrent i want to make 64x 64 characters and make my own graphics i want it to almost be a mix of ragnorak and runescape classic.... so any help would be helpful i don't want to make the games simaliar but i want the graphics to be similar....

Mate I definately suggest using a game maker like Elysium.. Unless you seriously want to code everything yourself. Then i suggest checking through the tutorial section of this community..

There is a 32x64 tutorial somewhere on these forums, which will teach you all you need to know to make your players and npcs 64x64..

As for making your own graphics mate, you can try drawing things using paint.. You can try and find some tutorials on pixelling.. I dont know any off the top of my head mate, but yeah.. Try searching around dude.. Good luck mate..
