yeah... you could just design everything in photoshop, save them as bmp files, and have maps just read those back instead of having individual tiles and what not... that could work.

You could just have each map still have all attributes, etc, but remove the whole tiles saving to the maps code. So it'll be "smaller" map files and potentially faster, but you will still have a lot of map graphics files.

Tip; Use the burn tool and the other one. Make Shapes :]
You can easily create maps, beautiful trees, etc. With this simple technique\ It kinda looks like a RSC Map :o Just 10x bigger.

its pretty simple. A 123ABC Step :o
1. Create shape 2. Warp Shape 3. Burn tool on the edges just to give it some flavor & spice. 4. Dodge tool the inners.
