Photoshop CS2 Map - Tony - 06-01-2007 Drew this in cs2 ![]() Would their be anyway to possibly Blit Maps like these laglessy :o - Obsidian - 06-01-2007 yeah... you could just design everything in photoshop, save them as bmp files, and have maps just read those back instead of having individual tiles and what not... that could work. - GodSentDeath - 06-01-2007 You could just have each map still have all attributes, etc, but remove the whole tiles saving to the maps code. So it'll be "smaller" map files and potentially faster, but you will still have a lot of map graphics files. - William - 07-01-2007 The shading is very nice. - Tony - 07-01-2007 Tip; Use the burn tool and the other one. Make Shapes :] You can easily create maps, beautiful trees, etc. With this simple technique\ It kinda looks like a RSC Map :o Just 10x bigger. - William - 07-01-2007 Kuja Wrote:Tip; Use the burn tool and the other one. Make Shapes :]I never had much luck with the burn tool =/ - Tony - 07-01-2007 its pretty simple. A 123ABC Step :o 1. Create shape 2. Warp Shape 3. Burn tool on the edges just to give it some flavor & spice. 4. Dodge tool the inners. - NaMz - 07-01-2007 More effect plz? - Xlithan - 07-01-2007 I dont get it. Sorry to sound like an asshole but it doesn't look interesting what so ever :S - Obsidian - 07-01-2007 easy way to output maps i guess - Suki - 07-01-2007 I agree with Gameboy, this is sort of the most basics... of the basics. - TheRealDamien - 07-01-2007 I am hopeless with graphics but I could do this lol. |
