Tbh, I started to read it, but then it was just too long. From what I read though, that's a pretty in depth story for an online game. Can't wait to see you pull it off. Big Grin

It all reminds me some of the stargate series, which I watched 2 times. Including the first 10seasons, 3 movies and the atlantis serie. It's awesome. However you somehow managed to make it all sound way more complicated than what I think your games story should be. If your going to stick with this huge story line you will need pictures after each paragraph to help the readers understand it more. And "pipe builders" Tongue That's so much the "Gate Builders aka Ancients" Tongue I suggest you tone down on the parts where you explain all the problems and societies and instead stick with something more stable like a race that wants everybody dead - rather than people being blackmailed etc etc. And regarding this wild hole, is that something you made up or misstyped or is this those wormholes that accidently popped up accross the galaxy? It's a good idea to find unexplored areas. But I also think you should have somewhat a base you start in, and construct a system for the dialing device where you can have some choises of planets to go to and a button to try and attempt contact with a so called wild hole.

Heck I forgotten most what the story was about now, add some images.

Telling the story through quests are always a nice idea, this could turn out to a huge success or a huge failure from what I can tell Tongue If it get's too complicated to keep up with everything that goes on in the story. Wish you the best of luck though =)

God there is so much that needs to be done when you start a new game xD I always find new things to add so it feels like it cant be finished.

Storyline, graphics, stat development, mapping, programming, maintaining the website, Each of these things is relatively small and simple, but add them all together and it can get cumbersome.
Hehe, I know exactly what you mean. Making everything on your own is very time consuming and requires extreme effort. But it's worth it in the end Smile The key is to mix things up. Spend some time on programming, some time on graphics etc. At least that's what I did and that worked decent for me. Though it took me years xD
