Not sure if this is the correct forum but someone can move it if it isn't.

Anyways, I've looked through google and tried a few things but not many programs are that great. I'm currently using Babarosa GIF Editor which is okay for gradients and animated GIF's, but other than that it's pretty limited. So question is, does anyone know any good free graphics editors, that are a little more suitable for GUI creation etc?

If so list 'em Smile.

MS Paint :-), Its alittle more erm, alot more time consuming :-).

which is gimp using an interface similar to photoshop.

GIMP is great. It can open photoshop files and the such. Gnome is great!

I use a gnome desktop on Linux.

GIMP = Gnome Image Manimpulation Tool

Or something...

i suggest GraphicsGale... a japanese software, is awesone and free, well, shareware, but have all... is like free xD. download it from here:
