Grr - Connection Help (Smart People)
#51
See but when I talked to the guy on the phone last night I told him I wa srunning agame server nd he didn't say anything in regard to that. And his exact words were: "You can port forward but we don't support it."

Just can't port forward with this modem that I have. I've decided to just upgrade the DSL package... then I'll have the fastest connection they offer, as well as the free modem+router, and unlimited bandwidth.

The way I see it, if I can find a way for this to work, as long as I don't go over my current 3GB bandwidth limit I'm good :p

It won't take you long to surpass 3gb of bandwidth, you should just switch to cable internet.

It's faster, and it's just better. DSL sucks.

He was trying to avoid doing that. Some people don't like calling things like that, I know personally, I hate doing it. I won't even call anyone for that matter. I hate the phone.

Puh, who needs phones, that's what MSN etc. are for lmao.

But yea, I am definately upgrading the package.

@Advocate - I had cable ... and it was just as fast as the DSL I have now. And considering we only have one cable service provider in my town, it will only get slower.
