It mightve been that i couldnt reference files from system32 or
Certain Dlls were too new or corrupted but not the ones that were in registry installer or VB6 cd

thanks but i cant open the form in design time i dont know what to do with it, i tried placing it public into a module but it closed the whole project. Also theres no reference to the Richtextbox control in your code im just reminding i need to know if you can fix that too.

And i cant remove the components.
please help coz i cant continue my project anymore otherwise...

Try reinstalling Visual Basics, then if that doesnt work, reinstall Windows.. Goodluck mate.. :wink:

I never encounter this before. You say that only your source has the problem. I have had similar errors when starting up visual basic from the begining. But never had such problems when running it. I thing you had something do some weird work on you rource. And after that you could not register the required ocx and dll.

Nah its not just my source, in the things ive tried list it says i opened a fresh source and still got the same error.

Yet when i create a new project theres no problems, im gonna try reinstall vb first i just have to find it, if that doesnt work im gonna listen to rodney rude...

pfft dont mind if it cant be fixed cant be used... so il send a really early version...
plus alot of my work has been done in Flash so you wont be able to leech much anyway but... bt yeh if anyone tries to reproduce my game ill snap ya!

feel free to have a look, learn or watevs, thats what this forums all about anyway, there are some unprecedented codes in there but also some things which you might find ridiculous (im expecting a few replies with blank looks), ive had 3 connections no problems or lag but...

also i reinstalled VB nothing changed... maybe if i uninstall and install learning edition which is cd so nothing can be corrupted... ?

EDIT: When i uninstalled vb it said "failed to unregister .SRG file"

And uninstall - reset - install (with cd) VB didnt work

I had the same problem once. I think it was because something in the form option menu was fucked up, not sure though.
