K2h website
#1
So I started a new website and would like to get some feedback on what to change and improve. I can't stand my old one, it looks terrible.

New Website: http://www.key2heaven.net/k2h/newwebsite/index

Yeah I get your idea, but what do you mean by content oriented?

I'm planning to have a a new image border surrounding the pages instead of just a black border. And I guess I could do some kind of small animation on the banner. But other than that, any ideas how to make it more flashy?

Lol you used MS as base Tongue?
Youre site is named "MirageSource.com - Got your Source?"

Yeah, I figure since I own it I can adjust it for my crappy website knowledge ^^ I bet you wouldn't know its the ms base if I removed the copyright thing on the bottom. But without it the site looks so blank.

I hadn't seen it was still named that Tongue Gotta search the code and change it to "Frog".

Woah, I thought it looked the same, but didn't think you'd actually do that.
I didn't notice the title at all.
Pff, and you still had the guts to act as if you didn't copy it :|

Eh, it was obvious I used the same base. When did I pretend I didn't copy it? I was going to see if I could come up with a new theme for ms but since that failed I went for my game instead.

lol Rory, I just saw this now and I get what you mean:

Just curious..

Quote:There is about 20% chance that you will enconter a error when you start the game. This means that your missing a dll file. The first thing you should do is to install the Library Files.exe located in the client folder. If you still get a error. Go to the Bugs & Error section and find the fix for it. Fixing the error takes about 2-4minutes. But if you still can't get it working, post on the forum and I will support you with the fix fast.

20%? o_O

Glad you read the content. Well do you have a better percentage number for me to use?

You can't make a percentage for something like that.
Quote:Robin:
Why aren't maps and shit loaded up in a dynamic array?
Jacob:
the 4 people that know how are lazy
Robin:
Who are those 4 people?
Jacob:
um
you, me, and 2 others?

i would say a small number instead of using a percent.

It's 10% chance robin will be late for school next time. I can make a percentage for anything ^^ And what does it matter really? Tell me any good reasons why I can't do it? I bet the chance is app. 1 in 5. Do you really want me to change it to "a small number" rather than a percentage because? It's so far beyong important I'm having a hard time understanding why I made my post this long. lol

No, the chance that Robin would be late would be something like take 100 random days of college, what percentage of those days was Robin late? Why not just say there is a chance that.. Throwing a statistic in there just makes it look stupid. Although, 97% of people will believe absolutely anything if there is a statistic associated with it.

Haha, that's a good one Big Grin

I'm too lazy to change it atm, wouldn't mind you guys did some grammar checking too Smile

I was just wondering, because 20% does seem like a high number, it is still 1 out of 5, so I thought maybe you'd rather flaunt that there wasn't many bugs and say something along the lines of : If you happen to have a bug.

Just my personal opinion though Smile

And here, grammar fixed :

Quote:There is approximately a 20% chance that you will encounter an error when you start the game. This means that you are missing a .dll file. The first thing you should do is to install the Library Files.exe, which is located in the client's folder. If you still get a error, go to the Bugs & Error section and find the fix for it. If you don't install the library files, the chance of error is very high. Even with it installed I'm pretty sure the error chance is pretty big. I guess my game sounds bad when I say it's 20% chance of error though.

Thanks, I will submit the fixed grammar.
