Story line
It was the year 2012, a tragic war broke out between the U.S and Russia, over certain technological advances, this war was soon labeled as World War III. 3 years later, the Russians decided to finally take advantage of their new-found technology and created a bio-weapon which was capable of reanimating the dead.
This weapon was soon tested, and fired, at the U.S, resulting in all the recently deceased to live once again, as mindless, aggressive corpses, which only desire is to engulf living souls and feed on the remaining flesh.
However, Russia did not anticipate the long-term effects of their attack, and eventually, the citizens of the entire planet became a pawn to the epidemic of the onslaught of the undead.
But, in last-hope effort, some people managed to create various refuges, but with limited resources, having to venture out into the infested streets and risk their lives to gather more resources, constantly.
These small communities managed to survive through several years of toughness, and some even became quite skilled at hunting and evading the undead.
Now, there are several camps and outposts scattered around the world, with survivors, still fighting to protect themselves from extinction.
You are one of these lucky survivors... If you consider being alive at this time lucky. (same story just more detail by Dr D)
