It's okay, but why a Zelda Game? Be more creative, and create your own game, your own style, your own story, etc.

It's more of an accomplishment, if you do it yourself, and not copy an already popular game.

So keep the concept, and change the name. If you use no copyrighted material, they can't do anything about it, though, I'm sure they will try.

I definately love the simple concept of the guis.. It makes it feel more old school.. Which is awesome.. I would like to see an in-game gui.. Or layout.. Big Grin

In game GUI or layout you say? I've been doing some programming for Lambroghiniz and....

With the FPS uncapped (but with movement capped), on my system it runs on that map at 443 FPS.

Those buttons do stuff, but only when not in the map editor.

My System:
AMD Athlon 64 3000+
nVidia GeForce 6600 LE PCI-E x16 256mb dedicated
1gb ram

That's looking pretty sweet lamborghiniz! Keep up the good work.

Nice to see someone taking the initiative and getting rid of the icky surround GUI and finally getting around to having on screen GUI, alpha blended on screen. I really hope this game pulls through. Looks like lots of fun!

Go for it!

And yet, I get no credit for the coding...

BTW Lambor, I'm going to start over, I totally screwed something over when trying to get rid of one of the few pixel by pixel movement bugs. I just need to figure out a way to get the other player movement synced between the server and other players. That 'skipping' is really annoying.

And while I'm at it, I'll make a log of all the code changes for pixel based movement, so that later I can make a tutorial out of it.

Okay Johnman, Some kinks do need to be put out of the movement...

Also, Great Job on the coding ;D

I was talking about the graphics. I have no idea what the coding is going to be like. All I see is some alpha blending and pXp movement.
