MS 3.0.7 (MYSQL version)

Could someone link me to or send me the SQL version of Mirage Source please. I think the original one had bugs where it didnt work right away so if you had the working version that would be even better.

The base version isn't allowed to be distributed anymore. Feel free to use the Thrones of War source which was based off of 3.0.7.

I don't know.. I'm pretty sure Shanarra has clearly stated that it shouldn't be distributed anymore, and that MSE should be the only one you can download. Just because you found the link doesn't mean it's allowed.

In his little note that came with it, he also stated you can take the base mirage source and make it your own, with no credit, and re-release it as is. I just think the whole MS name plays into what you said. I don't think he wants it being downloaded if it still uses the ms name.

The only thing I try to discourage are tutorials for the old 3.0.3 source code If people want to post a complete engine (or whatever) with fixes, changes or whatever that used the 3.0.3 source, I have no problem with that at all.

Could someone help me setup my sql server?

I had it all fine before but havent used it forever now cant get it working.

I have MYSQL ODBC installed.
I have MySQL admin installed (shows mirage online DB)
I couldnt find my MySQL so I redownloaded it... when I try to set up and choose as a windows service it gets an error and says it cant... so I cant get that part running.

Any help would be great.

Well alls good but cant get the server running. It compiles fine. It says item cannot be found or something when I go to run it.

I found an old old game I was working on using this before and tried using the server from that. That one loads up fine, but when I go to connect through the client it says version outdated. Whats with that?
