So now instead of having the picture boxes appear, I made it so it draws the text instead:
I think it looks better this way, takes up less space too:

Zomg you should make a code which checks which buffs are currently on and then change the Y accordingly, so it doesn't have those gay spaces.

I vote on having icons.. but not as large as yours were.. more like... 48x48.. or something. Or 32x32

As small as his screen is, I'd suggest 16x16.

Or just keep the text. It doesn't much make a difference.
