Just Chars.. and Tileset

Had some free time to pixel, and i fixed my chars a bit. Did an fast animation, which took me around 2 min .. I think ive kinda learnt how to do walking animations.

Anyway.. Critz are welcome.

i don't like them much personally, they aren't very well shaded. shade 'em a little more and they'll be great

My crit: i dont like those flashy points in the clothes, if you are gonna add them into a game you gotta dont have to think the sprites aside, cause i doubt you can adapt those sprites to a tileset. and head seems to be flying

As i said earlier on another forum, the highlights work good with Tilesets and its all about what style your doing.

Yes it is its own style and a tileset could match it... I just dont like the dull colors... a game with all that type of colors would bother me.

They all look like they have beer guts to me. I like the tiles though, not too fond of the sprites all together.

Now, the old sprites you had when you were going custom for godborn, those were awesome.

I think they're good. At least the colors really do match the tiles good, yeah the legs could need some more work, but overall I think I would give it a 9/10.

Though I would rotate both feet a little bit , so it would look like:


I would give it a 10 out of 10 if it were like that.

They do match well... dont get me wrong I think they are really good but the colors are too bleh to me. You need to add some darker colors or something in my opinion.

Somehow the trees could need a darker outlining. XD

Just look at it, the trunk doesn't even match the green leafs(or whatever you'd call that). The trunks have little darker effect.

Also Mithlomion, what program do you use for these? Photoshop? Others?

I love them mate, awesome bloody style.. Everything looks fine to me.. :wink: I wouldnt mind seeing some darker colours, but see thats the thing with this style.. It all looks suits, so if you added too many darker colours, it would ruin it..

That's why I added my opinion as an extra, with a picture. I wonder if the creator sees it. :roll:
