I submitted it for analysis but I doubt it's a virus, probably just the way the client is coded.

yes, after we added the CRC-checking updater, a few virus scanners started to flag it as a potential threat, I guess it doesn't like the idea of the client downloading files from the internet

the updater is pretty cool, you cannot use any bullshit files since their CRC won't match, so it'll force the client to download the real files
