What environments can you code C in so you can code C easier. Like for Instants VB has the environment with all tool bars on side with buttons, text boxes etc
Is C only coded in notepad?

Every C++ Compiler and IDE is Almost completely C Compatible.
Just find something you like.

For example - Eclipse C/C++. I would like to suggest you this one because it's nice.
I wasn't doing with one for C but for Java and it has friendly enviroment. http://www.eclipse.org/cdt/ (and by the way, it's for free)

Visual Studio or Dev C++.
Visual Studio is the Best, Dev C++ is the Simplest and Codeblocks is just a Pain in the ass, even though i use it.
