Ok ive had some requests to get a server up for the Mirage Source communitie. and since i dont have a server, i was wondering if anyone here would like to let us use thier server to host it on? i cant pay you anything, but at least then we can chat with everyone.
ok contact me on MSN pm sent
Buy a VPS you cheap fucker, its £10 a month >.
Dude he's still in high school and has no job. I am not sure his financial status, but he is trying to host it as a service for other people. Don't insult him for trying to do a good thing, otherwise the only shit I smell is coming from your direction.

Well, since the US dollar sucks, 10£ is equivalent to $20 (last I checked)
thank you shaded and asrrin. Ya i just went into high school and i have no job. and anything that goes into any of my computer stuff i have to pay for myself. i was trying to see if anyone would host it cuz several people had asked me to get one set up so everyone on these forums could just chat in a chat room
Why not just set up an IRC room? Would be loads easier. MUCH easier.
And it's guaranteed to work..
uh...cuz QuadChat does work. hell idk. i guess just cuz its something no one else has yet. plus i can add any features that you want that are with in my limits, or until i can figure out how dont ask me i just had people asking for me to get a server up. hell i even had one guy wanting to buy the copyrights although i said no.
thats all i got to say. if you dont like what im trying to do then [edit] off
im not the one who was wanting the server. i was trying to find one so you all could just chat. i was just trying to do a nice thing. sry it just didnt sound like a suggestion when i had first read it.
anyway. does anyone even still want to have a MS chat room? im know perfekt doesnt
As far as I know, we all just talk to eachother gtalk.
ok well if anyone still wants to have it up let me know else im not goin to keep looking.

I really don't see the point. We're all in different time zones anyway, and when we are on it's a lot easier to use something that can run from a browser, like GTalk, rather than having to install some software.
Basically: GTalk application when at home, GTalk browser when at work/school/elsewhere. Having a custom VB6 app for chatting is pointless, especially when things like IRC exist.

Well hows this, as an apology for me being a cunt earlier, I'll host your server _IF_ this job I'm trying to land comes through, you'll know by Sunday
