Just a thought

:Tonguelease dont complain about me posting this if you dont like it delete it or lock it whatever::

Now I was just thinking about all the current 2D mmorpg engines alot based off mirage
theres a fair few now I was just thinking why???
Like all the engines are really aiming to do the same thing provide an easy ways to make a mmorpg each trying to be better then each other but why???
Why dosnt everyone just work on one engine and make it the best instead of having loads and not being as good
Like we have some talented people here if we had them all together we could make a great engine the best in 2D

So Like ya but that just my thoughts so ya thats all really

Because everyone sucks at programming. If they all worked together, it'd be terrible. In fact, that happened to Elysium.

As for the rest, they all suck anyway. There's only two decent engines out there that actually have some unique features.

The creators of the engines aren't good programmers, that's why it's such a mess xD

But Bradyok's Jerrath was just a recreate of Kael's Jerrath (was an owner of PW)

but they had to make the engine to make thier game, plus its not really an engine as much as a game editor, so once they finished the engine/editor they decided to release it to he public and still make thier game. so essentially they did what Robin is doing.

Not with Brady though, his game was made before XW, XW is created from Kronia's source.
Same with the first Magnus-Version PW, it may have been changed, but when it was "NeoRPG Alpha" or whatever, I was under the impression it was made from Magnus' game Crystalion.

PW was made from Kronia, I think.
