My first 100% selfmade graphics

I tried to make some Tiles and Sprites 100% from scretch. This is the result. Its my first work and i hope its not sooo bad...

It's not too bad, the castle just needs some definitive borders. The left house looks good but maybe too square. The sprite however is kind of a funny joke. I love it that you try on your own and don't use some shitty ripped gfx.

Your grass tiles repeat. Try and look at them in a grid like that, and change them to make 'em flow together and not looked tiled...

It's a little tricky to remove the pattern that the eye can see. You just need to keep trying like I did with my grass a long time ago.

Im all for custom gfx, I can pretty much play any game as long as it has custom gfx.

if you made two games, the same exact games, except one used those gfx and one used regular gfx, i guarentee that the one with custom gfx will be more popular becuase it shows that you tried to do something diffrent.

You don't count that as popular? That game is boomin'. I hate it, personally, but it's always got like 40 or so players on it.

Also Will, I can see the tile pattern in your grass as well, Mr. My Grass Is Perfect.

Find me one tile where you cant see a pattern.. Williams is good, but mostly because it uses just 2 colors..

Anyway Sebalons is awfull.. You can actually se an outline of light green around the tile itself ..

Doesnt matter, i'd so play that game if he released it.
