..why has nobody thought of this before?


EDIT: Wouldn't it be better to move the minimized check under the "disconnect" check though?

Why not have it with the FPS though?

Rather than having:

If frmMirage.WindowState = 0 Then

Why not have:
Code:
If frmMirage.WindowState  1 Then

Because otherwise the loop will be bypassed if the form is maximized (windowstate = 2).

Or am I wrong?

I had this idea, too...but I never did it and I think I had a good reason, but I can't remember it...

Well, it acts funny on Vista.

Because if you use the thumbnail view, it shows a black screen.
But not a big deal.
