A market share of 10.9% isn't exactly a monopoly. Monopoly means one company controlling the market and being able to set their own prices. Apple is not able to do that. It's obviously aimed at a higher segment than most other phone companies, but it is in no way controlling the price of mobile phones. So if that's your only reason, you're dead wrong.

Anyway, I refuse to pay 300+ bucks for something I can't even work with, my text skills are crappy and everyone I know has one, so I don't need one.

I got one for free from a referral site and then gave it to my mum,
The battery life was terrible and the music quality made me sick.

i think the battery life is good, and what does music quality have to do with an itouch, its your fault for downloading illegal music with bad quality

It's unreasonable to pay double the price for nearly six times lower amounts of storage.

The main reason I call them a monopoly is because they can get away with selling phones and products at such high prices. And they get away with it because you can't pick up an iPhone or iPod anywhere but an apple store.

Regardless the lack in memory and increase in price is still unreasonable.

When you're alone
And life is making you lonely,
You can always go downtown
When you've got worries,
All the noise and the hurry
Seems to help, I know, downtown

Just listen to the music of the traffic in the city
Linger on the sidewalk where the neon signs are pretty
How can you lose?

The lights are much brighter there
You can forget all your troubles, forget all your cares and go
Downtown, things'll be great when you're
Downtown, no finer place for sure,
Downtown, everything's waiting for you

Don't hang around
And let your problems surround you
There are movie shows downtown
Maybe you know
Some little places to go to
Where they never close downtown

Just listen to the rhythm of a gentle bossanova
You'll be dancing with 'em too before the night is over
Happy again

The lights are much brighter there
You can forget all your troubles, forget all your cares and go
Downtown where all the lights are bright,
Downtown, waiting for you tonight,
Downtown, you're gonna be alright now

Downtown

And you may find somebody kind to help and understand you
Someone who is just like you and needs a gentle hand to
Guide them along

So, maybe I'll see you there
We can forget all our troubles, forget all our cares and go
Downtown, things'll be great when you're
Downtown, don't wait a minute more,
Downtown, everything's waiting for you
