I got bored.

So I made some "concept" art for Fox and his ever so apparent Warlock.

I like it, but it seems choppy

What do you do for shading?
I generally make a new layer and use paintbrush.
But that doesn't seem like what most people do.

I drew it on some printer paper with a 3B Pencil, shaded with a 6B, outlined with ink, took a picture of it, opened it in photoshop, changed the brightness/contrast, used the filter Dry Brush, made a new layer opacity set to 27, colored in the flame and then took out the background so it's see through... And there you have it.
