I wouls say that the best cohoice to make would be the more detailed looking, as well they look bloody awesome.. Although you would have to change everything to have the same amount of detail.. But yeah, both look good.. I do like the simple look..

If you which helmets to use out of all of those, use them all. If you mean detailed or simple, use the simple for now, until you get around to doing a massive overhaul of the rest of your graphics to match the detail.

Go for the detailed one, but you should also redo everything else
