Vista....
#1
I just installed Vista on my computer, and when I try to log into my game, it doesn't let me, it throws me an automation error for creating the sprites.

Is this normal? Will it go away?

From what I've gathered, even though VB6 works on vista, not all the DLL files do.

There was a list of unsupported DLLS? On the microsoft Website, I can't recall the link though.

The biggest issue lately is RTE 429.

One of the many reasons why you shoudn't have switched to Vista this year. XP will run for at least 4 years happely with full suport just like 98 did for 8 years.

no..i have vista and my game works 100% correctly, you just have to install the directx7 dll manually, i did that and now it works. So, before i got the same 429 error.

hope that helps, if you need the dll tell me and i ll give it to you
