Thanks.

I've already sorted out a lot of the AI lag by only re-finding the path when needed (if the player moves) so hopefully I won't need to spend too much time optimising it.

The daemon system sounds quite a lot like Philip Pullman's "His Dark Materials" trilogy, so I'm assuming that's where most of your inspiration comes from. I love the idea, and it opens up a large array of possibilities as far as strategic gameplay goes.

Does the player choose his or her daemon, or is it "assigned" to them, so to speak (randomly or otherwise)? Your maps are nice, and the game sounds like a lot of fun. Good luck, and hopefully this game is finished, eh?

Good stuff! The roleplay Q&A sounds like a great idea, and it would be so fun to see what daemons different players get through the process.

There are already two videos up. One for woodcutting and one for the AI.

I'll probably release another video when I do a quest system, or perhaps for the Daemon system.

The quest will simply be Cruel and I going to rescue an NPC who is being held hostage by a bandit faction or something, but it'll show how smooth the game feels.

Got a new GUI from Rory!

All the buttons are fully animated. Each have a normal graphic, on_hover graphic and on_click graphic!
