o lol. so wrong.
thats the worst part of phpbb. if it gets older and die db grows it will slow down the whole server. thats terrible.

So you find that this forum is currently very slow? I seem to find it very fast when loading and posting etc. So there's nothing wrong with the speed.

I'd wait until the official release. They said they're going to be writing a proper upgrade script so it's best waiting. There's nothing wrong with the forums at the moment, and if one more mirage source-based engine forum gets wiped for the 1mth time, I'm going to be really pissed off.

there also quite alot bugs and exploits in this new version. i would wait 2 or 3 month's after the official release...

They're in beta... go figure.
