These are projects I worked on quite a long time ago so my work is no longer viewable but are definitely some of my biggest projects. I have screenshots I can provide with design and/or programming work of the projects at the time of their creation. Also I did more programming then design for the projects below but if you are interested and want to see the screenshots then send me a PM and I will give you my company contact info. For simple graphics (no flash) our rates start at $55.00 per hour at an estimated 10 hours for a total of roughly $550.00 for a complete professional website scheme. Vertically expandable is not a problem. I would probably use a tiny image with some sort of boarder/gradient as a background that can stretch as much as you want. That way you don’t loose the design because of too much content and also provide fast load times, especially if you want to accommodate dialup users.
