first thing before pixeling: the outline:

Remember that if you are making a perspectived object make it as simetrical as possible.
Now, about the style itself, ill show you some examples to show you:

As you can see the style is the same, both have cel out, a good inner anti-alias, a great usage of shadow and lights in sprites and tiles
elpis:

both tiles and sprites have black outline, both dont have inner anti alias both don't really use desaturated colors
I hope you understand what imtrying to say. If you use the same style they will match much more better together
