Connection Problem

Your notebook and desktop have separate IP addresses. What they share is their connection to the router. Imagine that your router has it's own IP address. This one is the address anyone outside of your network sees. Your notebook and desktop addresses should be something like 192.168.0.xxx.

When your forwarding your routers port you forward it to your desktops local IP and port (which is where your server is running). Make sure the server is running with both the GAME_IP and GAME_PORT matching what your router is forwarding to. Then your clients IP should be your routers IP, the one thats supplied by your ISP. And the port should be the same as your GAME_PORT obviously.

Also, make sure any firewall program you have isn't preventing your server from allowing outside connections on that port.
