I dunno the fox for it, but you could add a refresh/resync/respawn button.

refresh/resync is really annoying,

something i did that made quite a nice huge difference is every 10 arrow key presses it checks the player position against what the server things - it does not refresh it unless there is a difference two key presses in a row, so the players dont notice :]
