VB is simple, but it's the best at what it does.
I agree, its simplicity is un-rivaled;
However you failed to mention Java has been updated constantly, and despite its inherent slowness it can still be bloody fast.
As for it being cross platform.. ^^
Anyhow this isnt a 'my dad can beat up your dad' thread lol, if anyone has any experience with mini-pc box's let me know.
