A market share of 10.9% isn't exactly a monopoly. Monopoly means one company controlling the market and being able to set their own prices. Apple is not able to do that. It's obviously aimed at a higher segment than most other phone companies, but it is in no way controlling the price of mobile phones. So if that's your only reason, you're dead wrong.

Anyway, I refuse to pay 300+ bucks for something I can't even work with, my text skills are crappy and everyone I know has one, so I don't need one.
