My First Game Maker Game :3

So I've finally decided to have a go at making a small game using Game Maker!

I'm a total beginner however and I'm looking for some help. I have tried a few tutorials but most sites kinda suck. Can someone here add me to MSN or something and just help me out with a few things?

I'm starting off by making a small one level Super Mario game just for fun and to gain some experience in how to make basic platforming games.

I started the game about 2/3 days ago and have spent a little bit of time each day working on it. Thank you to those who tried the first demo and giving feedback.

I've upgraded a few things and improved some areas but I still need some help.

THIS GAME HAS BEEN CODED FROM SCRATCH. I HAVE ONLY USED BASIC INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEOS TO LEARN HOW IT WORKS. THE GAME IS 100% MY OWN WORK.

err by that I meant the coding.

with Game Maker MANY people use pre-made engines which are open source and just make levels. I however started creating it myself NOT using other peoples code or anything. THUS meaning the games engine creation is 100% my own work. I guess I should have pointed that out for pedantic fags like yourself.

You can say what about every single game most people make. Oh look graphics which aren't theirs! OH LOOK! Features and concepts already done a million times before! :3

But again, by my statement I was referring to it's creation of the engine NOT concept, NOT graphics and NOT mechanics.

C'mon what's wrong with you people? Obviously we all know that he didn't create those graphics
and that he, himself coded the mario game since he wouldn't name this topic "My First Game Maker Game"
