MySQL Dump
#1
Is there no way to write a MySQL dump using a program that writes it out for you? I could handwrite a dump, but I don't have the patience, or the time to do it...

If there is a program that'll autmatically write a dump for you, depending on what values and variable types you give it, could you please post it here? I've done a Google search on it, but I've found nothing.

There's an online one that you could use.. it's called phpMyAdmin, and you set it up on your localhost. You can edit MySql tables and such with it, so it's really nice to have.

Website Address: http://www.phpmyadmin.net/home_page/index.php

PS: If you already haven't noticed, you must have PHP installed, a webserver and MySQL. Wink

If you need a guide to Apache / PHP / MySQL / CGI then go HERE (http://ricocheting.com/server/).

PS: If you use this guide, don't forget to change everything to your drive. (In their tutorial, they used E:\; it's usually C:\.)
