Error Code 6 and Invisible Players
#1
Well, it's been a long time since I've tested my game with another player on, and I've encountered two major concerns so far. Help me out mirage Big Grin

The first is the client is crashing, and the player is encountering Error Code 6. It seems to happen randomly. Can anyone shed some light on Error Code 6?

The second I'm not even sure happened. But it concerns me if it did, because I experienced the same problem when I was making a game with UberRPG 4 years ago. A player logged in, and I warped to him. he was on the same map as me. I couldn't see him until I warped to him. has this ever happened to anyone else?

1.What does it highlight on err 6?

2.And you warp to him, you dont see him, you warp to him and see him? I don't understand what you mean.

He couldn't see him on the map. So he warped to him on the map and then could see him.

Understand? He didn't warp twice. ^_^

I vaguely recall err 6 to be overflow? if so you might have a Byte that should be a Long for instance. It's almost impossible to fix such a bug for a player cause the bug can be anywhere, unless his your friend so he can test with the source code. But you can give him all possible DLL files and OCX files, and make him register them for 2hours and restart his computer until it works.

Meh. Stupid alcohol. I don't think there were any errors at all.
